Logan and Rory

I'm a bit confused by something in their relationship.

Logan was jealous of Jess and of Marty, but now, Rory admits that she
has a little crush on a TA and he's very understanding and thinks it's
perfectly innocent and natural.

I personally don't think that crush is going to be all that innocent.
Rory does have a tendency to act on her crushes. She had a crush on
Dean. While w/ Dean, she had a crush on Tristan and acted on that
crush a little. The only thing that stopped it from going any further
was that Tristan went away to military school. She's w/ Dean still
and then has a crush on Jess. Her relationship w/ Logan even started
w/ her having a little crush on him. She's going to act on that crush.

I never thought that Rory had a crush for Tristan. She had one weak
moment at a party when they both had split up in their relationships.
But other than that Tristan was always a big "never" for Rory.

But i think that Rory will give in for her crush on that TA, cause thats
the kind of behaviour she had shown when following Jess to New York.

I don't think Rory really had a crush on Tristan. She mostly seemed to find
him jerky, and perhaps she also felt a bit sorry for him. Rory had just
been dumped by Dean and Tristan had just been dumped publicly by his
girlfriend when they had their quick, mostly innocent kiss.

I thought Logan was almost too easy-going about the crush thing. As though
he might have a bit of a guilty conscience himself in terms of lusting after
someone different (perhaps the blond chippy?).

I agree that Rory will probably act on the TA crush in some way. Perhaps
after a fight with Logan.

I think Rory having a crush on the TA was a red herring with respect
to any threat the TA could or couldn't pose to Rory's relationship
with Logan. I think that subplot was all exposition to seet up that
Rory is learning how to be more honest and forward with Logan and
hence comfortable enough to bring up with him Mitchum's conversation
with her in this week's episode. She's picking up the honesty thing
a little faster than Lorelai is.
